De-rusting Chemical before Phosphating Treatment

INTRODUCTION

Phosphating is used extensively to improve corrosion resistance and paint–anchorage. To make Phosphating treatment effective, it is essential to remove the existing rusts and scales, without affecting parent material.

OMET–RUSTOKIL is concentrated liquid additive for de-rusting of mild steel & other ferro-alloy components. It does not induce pitting, corrosion in ferro-alloys, like Hydrochloric acid based pickling compositions. It is a phosphoric acid based Pickling cum de-rusting compound which does not corrode the metal.
